You may come to shamanic healing for many reasons. There might be an experience of overwhelm or unease or a sense that a part of you is missing or hidden. You might be hearing a call from the compassionate spirit world but do not have the context or framework to conceptualize your experience as you look to tune into your soul’s path and work. Perhaps there is a sense of a pattern or barrier from the past or along your ancestral lines that might be influencing your current life in negative ways or blocking you from stepping into your personal power. Maybe you are ready to connect on a deeper level with spirit or discover your personal gifts and create healthy boundaries in your life.
Shamanic healing is a compassionate approach to connecting with your true spirit and self. The intention of this type of healing is to expand your awareness, to create space for seeing what might have been unseen, and to open up for healing. This work can be a pathway to healing old wounds, unhelpful thought patterns, and misconceptions or misperceptions of yourself. Shamanic healing can help you come to a new understanding with illness, suffering, and burden. It can open you up to new teachers in the spirit and natural worlds that have deep knowledge and wisdom. Shamanic Healing can give you the ability to develop new tools, techniques, and rituals to enhance the way you live and experience the world.
A seasoned shamanic practitioner creates a safe container for you to explore and open your awareness to the spirit world. They play the key role of being a Hollow Bone and holder of sacred space. Whether you are learning, deepening, or returning home to a shamanic practice, it is important to be protected and intentional in your work. A shamanic practitioner provides a secure structure and supports you in developing the framework for your personal experiences so you can journey safely and interpret your spirit realm signs and lessons with clarity. The shamanic practitioner is your compassionate sounding board for reflection, helping you metabolize and integrate your practice.
“Shamanic healing with Sara has been a bridge to new ways of problem-solving for me. I have received messages and gifts of imagery that fit my life and soul’s path. This work helped shine a light on areas of myself that I was not sure the world was ready to know - now I understand this was part of me that needed to be reintegrated with love and kindness. I found messages within the session that were so specific to my life, I know that Sara can communicate with my guides. Each session is so full of information and support. Sara’s gentle voice and calm presence stay with me long after the journey, and I hear the reminders from my guides that they are always nearby to assist me.” -Julie H.
“I reach out for a shamanic session when I am trying to work through something but I feel an energy block; that, try as I might, there is a facet of accessing myself, “the center of my being,” that I can’t reach and that I need in order to resolve an issue that’s holding me back. During and immediately after the session I experience unimpeded energy flow; I generally cry because I can feel love and peacefulness moving through me and passing through my heart. I find access to gratefulness and am reminded that there are loving spirits that will help me access self-compassion when I invite their assistance. I am left with the ability to reflect on the guidance given to me and allow it to become a permanent meditation, to use to problem solve and live better.

What Type of Healing Can I Experience in a Shamanic Session?
Shamanic Healing is offered in a number of different forms. Each shamanic session is unique based on what you bring and are open to receiving. After permission is given and Sara has a sense of what you are looking for support with, she journeys on your behalf to her trusted Spirit Council to see what would be most useful and in your highest good for the session. Here is an overview of some of the different possibilities. Note that you might come to this work with a specific healing modality in mind, like soul retrieval or past life healing. That is beautiful and most welcome.
Past Life Healing
You can experience energetic entanglements from past lives and incarnations which can be directly influencing your current life. They can block the expression of your authentic self in this life, impact relationships and be seen in patterns of behaviors. Past Life Healing can offer the opportunity to recognize threads of incarnations, open up space for honoring and healing, and support you in stepping into a new sense of freedom in the here and now.
Curse and Field Unraveling
Fields of energy and curses are created and cast consciously and unconsciously. They can span over different lifetimes, be carried through generations along ancestral lines, be created by the collective, cast and created from friends and foes and even cast upon yourself. Curse and Field Unraveling offers the opportunity for freedom and release from negative ties that might be binding you to unhealthy patterns in your actions, thoughts, feelings and relationships.
Ancestral Lineage Healing
Ancestral Healing is a gift to the living and the dead. Beliefs, burdens, trauma, disease and unhealthy patterns can be passed energetically from one generation to another. Threads of these energetic fields and even curses can directly influence your life, livelihood and your body, your vessel. Ancestral Healing opens up opportunity for healing generational wounding and creating a safe access point to attune to your vibrant ancient ancestors and their gifts.
Power Animal Retrieval
The compassionate animal kingdom and spirit world are rich with wisdom and healing. Receiving a power animal, a compassionate guide in the animal, plant or nature kingdoms is a true gift. This type of retrieval offers you the opportunity to develop a personal and deep relationship with your spirit guide and learn about the gifts they have to offer you in your everyday life.
Soul Retrieval & Integration
In shamanic thought, your soul can become fragmented by stress, grief, and trauma, and there can even be soul exchange in romantic love relationships or with family and friends. The healing art of soul retrieval offers the opportunity for healing and blessings to the time of soul loss, the healing of your soul part, and the returning of your healed and vibrant soul part to its home, with you.
Energy Body Attunement
The energy of our experiences can become absorbed into our tissues and lodged within our systems. Energy Body Attunement opens up conversation and dialogue with your body, your systems, your organs and chakra centers. Allowing safe passage and transmutation of these energies that no longer serve you or were never actually yours can open up space to access and embody your personal power and create healthy and empowering boundaries.
“Sara brings such compassion and true gifts of healing into her sessions. From helping transition through the death of a beloved pet to retrieving soul parts creating more wholeness, each and every time I have worked with her, I've walked away feeling the profound shifts within my Being that have taken place. Her loving presence makes it easy to let go and trust, and her ability to beautifully express what she is doing during the session brings you even deeper. I am beyond blessed our paths have crossed; she has been such a supportive guiding soul on this journey”. -Taryn M.
What is shamanism?
Shamanism is an ancient healing form. It’s an indigenous practice and way of life from the hunter-gatherer communities dating back to at least 40 thousand years ago – some anthropologists believe from as long as 100,000 years ago. The practice of shamanism has a very broad background geographically and existed and exists within different communities around the world. The word Shaman is derived from the Tungus tribe in Siberia and is a word for spiritual healer, or one who sees in the dark. The actual word “šamán” means “one who knows”.

“Sara’s shamanic journeys have been a source of unparalleled insight. Like Raven, she travels with her guides to retrieve the most reflective and luminous truths about a person’s essence- and in offering that light, the client is able to proceed forward with far greater clarity and a sense of profound safety. I owe many career advancements, as well as the most healing romantic relationship of my life, to her compassionate retrievals and explorations”. -Hillie B.
